MY BIRTHDAY WISH LIST

Well, since I'm turning the big 30
(for the third time)

....this year has to be special. I am going to make a list of just exactly what I want...just like the kids do for Santa...only I have no Santa...but I do have dreams....here we go...

wish number 1

I'd like...dinner cooked and served for ONE WHOLE YEAR
(and a magic dinner fairy who cleans up the after dinner mess too!)

And while we're on a cleaning kick...hows abouts a magic house cleaning fairy.
If we're going to have cleaning fairies, might as well have
Mary Poppins move in with us.
Forget that, I want to be Mary Poppins
Who wouldn't want to look that gorgeous tending children
and sing like a flute while doing it.

So, for wish number 3...I want to be Mary Poppins.

Hmm, number 4...no more shaving...I wish I didn't ever have to shave my legs again...or at least I wish we could all take after the Europeans and find it very attractive to be "natural"

Number 5, I wish I had hair like grass....doesn't sound that great?

...stay with me...I'm not talking green or straw like, I'm talking....You can have it short one week, Long the next...keep it long, or cut it short again....you could try all those WAY cute hair cuts that maybe you're not brave enough to because if it looks bad...you have to wait months and months to fix it...Think about it...a diff hairdo every week!!

But then, would that make me high maintenence???

number 6...well if I don't cook or clean,

and I am Mary Poppins with magic hair, then,

I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANYTHING LEFT TO WISH FOR....except for maybe

that Santa could make all these wishes really come true.

You hit it all right one the nose.
Accept that if there was a wish number 6, it would (for me at least) to eat all the chocolate I want and have the cutest smallest figure as a result.
But then if everything came that easy I guess we couldn't be that happy.....

SIKE

I would!

Fist I just want to say, That is a really really really cute picture. Its Harry Perry right? oh my goodness I Love it!! And second of all, forget about Marry Poppins, Take Harry Perry's advise and dress up as a princess for the day, they ALWAYS get what they want!

What you need is Alice from the Brady Bunch. Or in these parts, they might call her Maria, or Juanita.
That's not a hard wish.

Hey Warren, did you mean Susan? I just checked the website out. How funny! How did you find that?
Susan is the one that always quoted that! Susan, you've got to go there. You'll be rolling on the floor!

Wow, for someone who isn't into Harry Potter, you sure want a lot of things that would be easy for a wizard. All you need is a house elf. They make empty plates and tables become suddenly overflowing with food and drink. And they clean it all up, too! And to suit all of your hair and figure needs, you just need to have shape-shifting abilities like Tonks. She changed the color/style of her hair just by thinking it. I'm sure she shaved her legs that way, too, but they didn't go into that in the book. Oh, and by the way, I'm going to have to ban my children from reading your blog with that last comment... I can't believe you wrote it out loud!! B-E-L-I-E-V-E!

p.s. cute pic of Harry Perry -- he's the only HP you really need.

Warren's Blog said...

Hey Nancy. I found the clip on a google search. I htink I'll post another one on my blog today.

Stewartville est. 1995 said...

Man Trish, You really sound like a neat person, with all the nice things you have to say about Sus In your blog! I think I like you!

Trish said...

Awwww! Susie your sibs are dang cool. Hi Maria Tortilla! Let's be friends! And thanks for the back up, Nancy Fancy Pants -- both on the Santa comment and HP. We are big HP fans in our family. Susie is an anomaly, but I have to admit that it's kind of a novelty that she doesn't know what pertrificus totalus means.

Stewartville est. 1995 said...

there you go...just when i think we are like twins...separated by a couple years..and a couple parents.....then you start speaking a language that is foreign...and i start to wonder if we are really twins at all?

Stewartville est. 1995 said...

pertrificus totalus

does it mean

i am totally perfect/terrific and i cus?

Fancy Nancy Pants said...

I read Trish's foreign language and I said, "HUGH???"
I read it to Doug and he's all,
" Oh yeah, that means, ......"
Hut! Trish, you must really love HP if you are quoting HP's lanuage!
Woooooooh, Wow!

Trish said...

HEy Susie, it can mean whatever you want it to mean. It's your birthday! Yeah, the cuss part fits... heh heh!

Hey Nancy! Shhh! Don't tell. It will be a laugh when she finally sits down to watch the movies all in a row (she says she's waiting for all of them to be made first so she can marathon them) and then when she gets to that part where poor Neville gets it -- she'll think of us meanies! Hee hee!

Happy Barfday Susie QT!
Love, t-bomb (thanks for the nickname... trish is just so ordinary)

Warren's Blog said...

How does someone breath under the Petrificus totalus spell? Trish, help me out here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN!!
Today it's your birthday...

Trish said...

Hey Warren, apparently your eyes and breathing remain untouched by the magic of this spell. It can be broken by the Finite Incantatem spell. OK, I looked that up... I didn't know that off the top of my head. I'm not that much of a freaky HP fan.

Muggle Mom said...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and Harry Potter ROCKS!!!! Hence, my screenname, Mugglemom. "Muggle" is a harry potter word to describe non-magical people. :)

Stewartville est. 1995 said...

then what would you call me?
i am nonmagical, but also...unharrypottified and don't know any magic spells?

what would my harry potter name be?

anyone?

Stewartville est. 1995 said...

Warren's Blog said...

Actually, this makes 51. It's not really a comment. It's more of a statement.
Here is the comment. HOLY MACKERAL!
Eveen minus Susans 19 comments, that's still a lot.
These blogs are like a cult.

Trish said...

Hey Warren, calling Susie Aunt Petunia made me snort laugh! There's gotta be a better name for her, though. A nice Aunt Petunia is an oxymoron and just doesn't work. Susie, I didn't just call you a moron. I'm trying to think of a better HP name for you!

OK, just trying to up the comment number. :) I'm in a cult! It wouldn't be the first time I've been accused of that.

Stewartville est. 1995 said...

if this is a cult, i guess i'm going to h-e-double hockey sticks...

Fancy Nancy Pants said...

damn staight!

Fancy Nancy Pants said...

Record high comments! Will she make it to 60??????

Maria Tortilla said...

Nancy said the D word! ON BLOG!

Warren's Blog said...

Thanks for the comment, Trish. Well, Dobby is the only other name that comes to mind. Look, Dobby does lots of laundry, dishes and makes a mean bowl of soup. Yes, he does magic. But what muggle mom with 4 kids couldn't use a little magic?

Stewartville est. 1995 said...

thanks warren, i could use some magic!!!
(especially with laundry, dishes and cooking)

so i guess my harrypotter name is "dobby"

Fancy Nancy Pants said...

This comment makes it to 59. Who will make the 60th record high comment?
You go girl, Susie!

Warren's Blog said...

Not me! I dont want to make the 60th comment....
