Just not a TWI~FAN

I'm sorry, I just didn't enjoy the movie...I went with some friends...I'm all for having a girls night, and at midnight, HOW FUN!

But as far as the movie goes, I thought it was just for those who read the books, it left out anyone that didn't. There were way too many "inside jokes" or what ever you want to call them.

A guy would look at someone, the audience would burst into screams,
a guy bumps into someone else...screams,
a girl bumps into an object.... screams
a guy catches an apple...SCREAMS,
a guy raises his eyebrow...yes, screams.
It went on throughout the whole movie.

I DON'T GET IT! Every two or three minutes, SCREAMS....and it seemed like the relationship between them went way too fast....they went from eye contact to "I love you so much I want to kill you" (apparently I had to read the books)

When I would ask my friends to explain...they're reply was..."you had to read the book" so...I think that was a mistake on the director's part. This movie just wasn't enjoyable without reading...and it seemed to have a VERY LOW BUDGET as well. Such poor quality...
But, I got a free movie ticket out of it all...so I guess you could say that was the
HIGHLIGHT of TWILIGHT for me.....

I still love you, Susie. The movie was bad, but I'll make a Twilighter of you yet!

don't get your hopes up, Trish! I'll put money on the fact that Susie will NEVER swing that way!

If anything the movie only cemented Susie's feelings of reading the series...

I loved the books, but I won't be "screaming" when I go see the movie... Susan, they were teenager fliberty gibets! There's only on man in my life that makes me scream.... hut. You can take that any way you want...

Darn, I already told Cara I would go and see it. I always thought the idea of an old man pedifile vampire falling for an underage kid creepy and gross.
Isn't anything pure anymore?

I read the book but couldn't get through the rest of the series. No plans to see the movie or any of them (as I assume they'll be making the next book into a movie soon if they haven't already started). Maybe when it comes out on video. Can't handle the teenyboppers flipping out like, well, teenyboppers. ;)

For now, I will pass. haha

I am right there with you girl, no interest in the books or the movie! My sister-in-law, and her hubby I might add, have seen it three times already...UGH! NO THANK YOU!!

I wish I could have seen you this past Sunday. =( We came down for Hannah's blessing. What ward are you in now?

Ok so we saw this movie without the screams, and it was pretty good. Totally cheezy in the beginning, and slow, but by the middle I enjoyed it. I had just started reading the book. And honestly, there isn't a ton of conversation till the middle of the book anyway.

Believe me, Susie...the movie was not for Twilight fans either. NOT good! You just wait, you'll get 'sucked' in soon enough.

Susie, I am not a Twilight fan either, and I thought I was the only one!
It's good to know I have a friend in the trench.
